Nature's Counsel - counselling sessions

The counselling sessions offer opportunities to connect with your own wisdom and resources. The sessions are guided by conscious therapeutic facilitation, drawing on a range of frameworks. All that nature has to offer is weaved in along the way. 

The sessions are for people from all walks of life; wishing to explore well-being or navigating specific life challenges.

Embracing a broad view of the counselling room, each session will take place in accessible locations in nature - thus weaving in spaciousness, novelty, opportunity for practical engagement, and more, to the counselling process. During this COVID19 period sessions are offered online.

The sessions will be tailored to suit the individual's needs, involving more or less of talking therapies modalities, mindfulness practices, nature connection, active physical engagement etc. depending on preferences discussed in the initial planning session.  The sessions give unique counselling opportunities via walk and talk, contemplate and reflect, experience and process practices - among others.

Drawing on 20 years professional experience in Bush Adventure Therapy, counselling, family therapy and group work, the sessions offer experienced and professional facilitation of emotional and physical safety in a counselling and outdoor environment. The therapeutic relationship and counselling approach is informed by a robust set of values and professional principles; ethical practice is at the foreground of the experience.
